About The Blog

Waking Up Like A Lion is a blog on a wide array of aspects in our day to day life, be they seen or unseen, which in the end have an impact on our quality and way of life. Its main emphasis is on the big picture of the world rather than on isolated cases. Studying only the isolated cases leaves one at risk of even more separation than this global mainframe has already created. The creation of this blog signifies the turning point from the microscopic view back to the full view.

The How & Why

Waking Up Like A Lion started spontaneously in response to my earlier plan to reach out to the world with the information I had gathered which was constantly being postponed due to the fact that I did not quite have all the bits of information harmoniously put together and well thought. This blog does not have the intention to convince you of anything. It has the intention to wake you up and figure it out for yourself. Above all, open mindedness is advised.

There will be those who will not make anything of it or not need it, there will be those who, out of curiosity, will consider or even research the ideas presented herein and there will be those for which a long-forgotten candle will light up again and those will be the ones who will rediscover themselves. The blog’s mantra is I AM, here for anyone who might find me, I AM, here for those who are in need of me, I AM, here for those who seek me, I AM, here for those who wish to uplift the veil, I AM.

Author

“Persons in power should be very careful of how they deal with a man who cares nothing for sensual pleasure, nothing for riches, nothing for comfort or praise or promotion, but is simply determined to do what he believes to be right. He is a dangerous and uncomfortable enemy, because his body, which you can always conquer, gives you so little purchase upon his soul.” (Gilbert Murray, 1918)

I have discovered after a period of time that I possess the basic knowledge and ideas (I am no guru) which I believe all mankind should know. I know I might get passionate over certain topics, specifically in regards to Part I, whereas I am generally neutral and middle pointed which could be described as being in harmony with nature. However uncomfortable it may sometimes be, I tend to agree with this attitude given our current situation and given the mass hypnosis that people are in, reason why the blog bears its name. One must press hard for the mass population to start realizing where they are at and to see the truth that lies all around them. Humanity unfortunately has walked away from its ancient natural bonds with the earth, as it orchestrates its own demise, and has arrived at a standing point where it has to choose between either give up its prejudices, its greed and self-exploitation and live in harmony with all or carry on with the inevitable self-destruction.

I may seem gullible in some of my statements, but being considerate is far better than being narrow-minded. The people that I typically meet have a tendency to think that the things discussed in here are somewhat over exaggerated and dramatic. My question is how do you even put such problems in a pretty fashion? How can you talk with fondness about issues of war, famine, suffering, injustice and slavery? There is no way around that. This is not a cutesy issue, this is the real deal. People are being shaped by the society into cute dolls and docile cattle. Ignorance is bliss is a lie, for it has governed our society up to this point and you can see its results.

In respect to my background it is of little importance, though I could describe myself as not your typical blog writer. :)

I claim the freedom to be who I want to be and not who the society wants me to be.

Q & A

What’s with the 3 Parts?

I feel the need to somewhat structure the blog in such a manner that will facilitate an easy time for the readership to figure out what is going on as well as to have a way of arranging all the posts, since this blog is about a lot of things.
